PEPPER is built by the people who believe in it.

We are an independent publication documenting Black trans life through fashion, music, photography, poetry, essays, interviews, and cultural criticism. Our work is community-led, editorially driven, and made through collaboration.

We are always looking for writers, photographers, artists, designers, archivists, organisers, researchers, and community members who want to be part of something being built with intention.

There are many ways to be involved. You might pitch a story or contribute a piece of writing. You might share an archive, a photograph, or a moment worth documenting. You might know someone we should know, or have a skill or expertise you want to bring to the work. You might simply want to help amplify what we are doing.

Whatever your entry point, we want to hear from you.
